Our exclusive and privately family safari tour in Tanzania for the small family with a high level of comfort and wonderful accommodation (2 adults and 1 child - under 12 years) with encounters with the "Big Five" and "Small Five" in the breathtaking Serengeti and the fascinating Ngorongoro craters as well as in the well-known and beautiful national parks of Tarangire and Lake Manyara - the home from Ernest Hemingway. Tag 1: Kilimanjaro - Arusha

Individual arrival and arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport in Tanzania. With a bit of luck, you can catch a glimpse of the majestic Kilimanjaro, 5,895 meters high, as you approach Arusha. After completing customs and immigration formalities, you will be welcomed by your personal guide (driver guide) with refreshments at Kilimanjaro Airport. On the drive (approx. 1h/5km) to your booked accommodation, you can get your first impressions of the surroundings with its friendly residents of fascinating Tanzania. Tag 2: Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park - Karatu

After a hearty breakfast, your safari begins and we travel with packed lunches for day trips to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara is a mineral lake located in the Rift Valley. Arrival at the park in the late afternoon for an evening game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, home of the so-called "Tree Lions". In addition to the diverse landscapes such as jungle, swamp and savannah, there are also a variety of animals, including giraffes, zebras, elephants, gazelles, hippos, monkeys and about 350 different species of birds.

Tag 3 - 5: Karatu - Central Serengeti

After the rich breakfast, the next highlight of your safari tour through Tanzania awaits you. You will spend three days on a game drive in the Serengeti National Park, which is rich in various animal species. We drive with packed lunches from Karatu and over the 600 meter high crater rim of the 1,700 high Ngorongoro Crater, also known as the eighth wonder of the world. We stop at the crater viewing point from which you can take a look inside the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In order to spend a lot of time observing various animals in the Serengeti and to increase your chance of spotting the big five (lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and rhino), we will take our picnic with us and enjoy it close to nature in the Serengeti National Park.

Tag 6 - 7: Serengeti National Park - Western Corridor

After a hearty breakfast, head to the western corridor of Serengeti National Park to have lunch at Kirawira Serena Camp during wildlife viewing. Afterwards, another game drive in the afternoon around the Grumeti River is on the agenda. The next day, further game drives will be undertaken in the impressive Serengeti, known for its endless expanses and fascinating landscape with acacia trees and granite kopjes. A picnic will accompany you throughout the day as you experience the beauty of Serengeti National Park and spot wildlife.

Your experienced guide is familiar with the landscape and wildlife favorite areas. Experience hunting scenes of big cats such as leopards, lions and cheetahs, observe herds of blue wildebeest and zebras, and meet eland, grant's gazelle, impala, lyre antelope, hartshorn, buffalo, warthog, spotted hyena, giraffe, ostrich, jackal, serval, Genets and many other wild animals.

Tag 8: Central Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater - Karatu

Breakfast and continue with packed lunch for a full day game drive through the Serengeti towards the Ngorongoro Conservation area. The crater covers over (250 square kilometers) of land and is home to the rare black rhinos, pack of lions, elephants, cheetahs and large herds of buffalo, antelope and wildebeest. Spectacular safari over the crater rim down to the crater floor. Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the lake district with its numerous flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food. The picnic lunch will be served directly in the crater. An unforgettable experience and drive to Karatu.

Tag 9: Tarangire National Park - Lake Burungi

After a hearty breakfast drive to a day safari to the Tarangire National Park. The heart of the park is the Tarangire River, which also forms the landscape. We will have our lunch close to nature in the National Park, followed by an afternoon game drive. Tarangire is a park with a breathtaking landscape in which the ancient Baobabs monkey bread trees tower above Africa's largest elephant herds. The Tarangire National Park is famous for the dramatic interaction between predators and prey in one of the park's waterholes. Elephant, eland, oryx, Lesser kudu and many other species can be seen in the park.

Tag 10: Tarangire National Park / Burunge - Arusha - Flight to Zanzibar

After the rich breakfast, it is unfortunately time to say goodbye and you will be driven to Arusha to catch your plane (transfer according to flight times, 2 hours earlier at the airport in Arusha) to Zanzibar, for your bathing stay on the beautiful sandy beaches of Nungwi.
