Individual transfer and arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport of Tanzania. With a bit of luck you can catch a glimpse of the majestic Kilimanjaro with its snow-capped peak as you approach Arusha. After clearing customs and immigration formalities, you will be met by your personal guide (driver-guide) with refreshments at Kilimanjaro Airport. Transfer to Arusha city for a short safari briefing over a freshly brewed coffee at the legendary “Africafe” and onwards towards Tarangire National Park. This is a mineral lake lying in the Rift Valley. You arrive at the park late in the afternoon for an evening safari through Lake Manyara National Park, the home of the so-called ‘Tree Lions’. Apart from the diverse landscapes, including jungle, swampland and savanna, there is also a large variety of animals including giraffes, zebras, elephants, gazelle, hippos, monkeys and about 350 different species of birds. Late in the afternoon you proceed to the Karatu area.

Breakfast and full day safari with packed lunch to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, trip to the bottom of the crater.

Optional: As an additional highlight, there is the option of a balloon safari in the Serengeti on day 6 for an additional charge (for US$ 599 per person) - an unforgettable adventure. You will then be picked up for further game drives in the Serengeti. Should be booked in advance to ensure safe participation.

After breakfast, a short game drive with simultaneous transfer to the Seronera Airstrip for the flight (approx. 45 minutes) to Arusha. During your flight over the Serengeti you will have another wonderful bird's eye view of this unique natural wonder.
Upon arrival in Arusha, pick up by a driver-guide and transfer to the restaurant for lunch at the locals' favorite restaurant, Andrews. Reminisce about the exciting experiences of the safari with a meal of freshly grilled goat, chicken or the traditional dish Ugali (corn porridge).
