After breakfast and a short safari briefing, we drive with packed lunches to a safari in the Arusha National Park. The Arusha National Park lies beautifully between the summit of Mt. Meru (4,565 m second highest mountain in Tanzania) and Kilimanjaro 5,895 m with an area of ??300 km². The park attracts with its landscape forms and a diverse flora and fauna and is one of the most beautiful and varied nature reserves in Tanzania.
On our day safari we will visit some spectacular viewpoints with a beautiful view of Kilimanjaro and impressive waterfalls and drive through the symbol of the park the "Fig Tree Arch" a strangled fig tree. We drive to the Ngurdoto crater and through the Momella area, which is particularly attractive from October to April, when the migratory birds overwinter with another 400 species of bird and observe the striking mantled monkeys with their long tails that can only be found in the Arusha National Park. The Arusha National Park is known for the white hunter "Margarete Trappe" filmed in "Beyond Africa". "Hatari" was filmed in the park in 1959 with John Wayne and Hardy Krüger. After an extensive breakfast we drive to a day safari in the Tarangire National Park. The heart of the park is the Tarangire River, which also forms the landscape of the large park. We will have our natural lunch in the national park, followed by an afternoon game drive. Tarangire is a park with a breathtaking landscape in which ancient baobabs tower above the largest herds of elephants in Africa. Tarangire National Park is famous for the dramatic interaction between predators and prey in one of the park's water holes. Elephants, eland, oryx, impala, lesser kudus and many other species can be seen in the park. After a hearty breakfast, continue with a packed lunch on tours in Lake Manyara National Park, the bird paradise of East Africa. Lake Manyara is a mineral lake located in the Rift Valley. Manyara National Park is home to the so-called "Tree Lions". In addition to the diverse landscapes such as jungle, swamp and savannah, there are also a variety of animals, including buffalos, warthogs, zebras, elephants, impalas, hippos and about 350 different species of birds such as flamingos.
