Tag 1: Kilimanjaro - Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park

Individual arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. With a bit of luck, you can take a look at Mount Kilimanjaro as you approach Arusha. After completing customs and immigration formalities, your personal guide (driver Malley Simon Gwandu) will welcome you with refreshments at Kilimanjaro airport. Transfer (4h) to Manyara National Park. Dinner (D) and overnight at Lake Manyara Tree Lodge (5*****)

Tag 2 - 3: Lake Manyara National Park - Serengeti National Park

After a hearty breakfast, spend 2 days on the game drive in Serengeti National Park, rich in wildlife. To increase your chance at the big "Big Five" (Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino), we'll take our picnic and spend the whole day in the wonderful Serengeti National Park. Meals (FB) and accommodation at Meliá Serengeti Lodge (Savannah Panoramic Room).

Tag 4 - 6: Central Serengeti

Embark on a journey into the stunning Serengeti with its acacia trees and granite-copjes and experience the waves of the blowing grass. Tag 7 - 8: Central Serengeti - Ngorongoro Conservation- Ndutu Area

Have breakfast and continue with packed lunches for a full day game drive through the Serengeti towards Ngorongoro Conservation with full day game drives in the Ndutu area. The Ndutu area is characterized by a magnificent and varied landscape around Lake Ndutu and is often underestimated. The Ndutu area is not on the "classic" safari route and is mostly visited by tourists in the months of February to April when the big herds of animals pass through the Ndutu area. You will spend the night in the beautiful Ndutu Safari Lodge, with its 34 comfortable romantic bungalows in authentic African design, nestled in an idyllic acacia forest overlooking Ndutu Lake. Tag 9 - 10: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, continue game drives in Ndutu and continue after lunch heading for Ngorongoro Conservation. The crater covers over (250 square kilometers) of land (as big as Berlin) and is home to the rare black rhinos, pack of lions, elephants, cheetahs and large herds of buffalo, antelope and wildebeest. Spectacular safari over the crater rim down to the crater floor. Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the lake district with its numerous flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food. The picnic lunch will be served directly in the crater. Tag 11: Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha - Alternative Flight to Zanzibar / Home

After breakfast (B) it is unfortunately time to say goodbye and you are driven towards Arusha to get your plane to Zanzibar (transfer to flight times, 2 hours earlier at the airport in Arusha) or for your onward flight home with unforgettable impressions and countless stories .

Tip: At the end of your safari we recommend an overnight stay in Arusha to ensure a relaxing holiday. We are happy to help you choose accommodation in Arusha and the surrounding area.
