Tag 1: Arusha - Kilimanjaro

Individual arrival to Tanzania at Kilimanjaro International Airport. With a bit of luck you can take a look at the 5.895m high Kilimanjaro "Roof of Africa" ??on the approach to Arusha. After completing customs and immigration formalities, your personal guide (driver Malley Simon Gwandu) will welcome you with refreshments at Kilimanjaro airport. Transfer to Arusha the "Safari capital of Tanzania" in your hotel and time to recover from the arrival. On request, your personal guide will gladly show you the sights such as the local market and other authentic souvenir options.

Tag 2: Arusha - Arusha National Park

After breakfast and a short safari briefing, we drive with packed lunches for a full day safari to the Arusha National Park. The Arusha National Park is beautifully situated between the summit of Mt. Meru (4.565 m second highest mountain of Tanzania) and Kilimanjaro 5.895 m with an area of 300 km². The park attracts with its landscape forms and a species-rich flora and fauna and is one of the most beautiful and diversified nature reserves in Tanzania. On our day safari we will visit some spectacular viewpoints with beautiful views of Mount Kilimanjaro and impressive waterfalls, and drive through the landmark of the park the "Fig Tree Arch" a strangler fig tree. We drive to the Ngurdoto crater and through the Momella area, which is particularly attractive in the months of October to April, when the migratory birds overwinter there with another 400 bird species and watch the mantle monkeys with their long tails that can only be found in the Arusha National Park.The Arusha National Park is famous for the white huntress "Margarete Trappe" filmed in "Beyond Africa". In the park, "Hatari" was filmed in 1959 with John Wayne and Hardy Krüger. The German film actor "Hardy Krüger" bought a farm after the filming and ran it for 10 years. Tag 3: Arusha - Tarangire National Park

After a hearty breakfast drive to a day safari to the Tarangire National Park. The heart of the park is the Tarangire River, which also forms the landscape of the large park. We will have our lunch (lunch) close to nature in the National Park, followed by an afternoon game drive. Tarangire is a park with a breathtaking landscape in which the ancient Baobabs monkey bread trees tower above Africa's largest elephant herds. The Tarangire National Park is famous for the dramatic interaction between predators and prey in one of the park's waterholes. Elephant, eland, oryx, Lesser kudu and many other species can be seen in the park.

Tag 4: Tarangire National Park

Early morning breakfast and drive for a full day safari in the Tarangire National Park, which owns an area of Luxenburg and has the highest density of wildlife after the Serengeti. A special feature of the national park are the tree climbing pythons and over 400 species of birds, such as the widely used hornbill, partridges, pelicans, eagles, vultures and various heron species. Due to the high number of livestock throughout the year, there are also a large number of lions that make an observation very likely. Tag 5: Tarangire - Lake Manyara - Karatu

After a hearty breakfast continue with packed lunch for day trips in Lake Manyara National Park the bird paradise of East Africa. Lake Manyara is a mineral lake located in the Rift Valley. Manyara National Park is home to the so-called "Tree Lions". In addition to the diverse landscapes such as jungle, marsh and savannah, there are also a variety of animals, including buffalo, warthog, zebra, elephant, impala, hippo and about 350 species of birds such as flamingos. Tag 6: Karatu - Central Serengeti

After breakfast drive to the Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti National Park was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981 and is home to countless animal and plant species - from large predators such as lions, leopards and cheetahs to the smaller herbivores. Enjoy a game drive en route to the camp in the middle of the Serengeti and more days in the Serengeti National Park. Embark on a journey into the breathtaking Serengeti with its acacia trees and granite kopjes. Tag 8: Serengeti - Lake Victoria (Lake Victoria)

During the game drives in the Serengeti National Park, we leave the national parks heading for the largest lake in Africa, the 1,134-meter-high Lake Victoria with its huge water surface. Continue to the lodge for dinner and sunset views over picturesque Lake Victoria.

Tag 9: Lake Victoria (Lake Victoria)

Today is another special experience on your personal travel program. We visit a typical fishing village and meet local fishermen who give us a deep insight into their way of life and work during an excursion on Lake Victoria (additional guide in English). We also visit the local market afterwards.

Tag 10: Lake Victoria - Western Serengeti

After a hearty breakfast drive to further full day game drives in the Serengeti National Park. We will take our lunch with packed lunches close to nature in the Serengeti. You will also explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the lake district with its numerous flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food. An unforgettable experience awaits you in the evening with beautiful sunsets.

Tag 11: Western Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, further game drives in the Serengeti and continue towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The crater covers over (250 square kilometers) of land (as big as Berlin) and is home to the rare black rhinos, lion packs. Lunch is served at the lodge.

Tag 12: Ngorongoro Crater - Karatu

Tag 13: Lake Eyasi "Hunting with Bushmen and Datoga"

In the early morning we drive with packed lunches in the area of Hadza to a walking safari with the "Bushmen" (notification by clicking sounds). This unique encounter will give you deep insights into the last primitive peoples. The Hadza travel up to 200 km per day during your hunt. Tarangire Safari Lodge

The wide view from the lodge over the wide valley of the Tarangire River is breathtaking and is one of the best viewpoints in the park.
