LABA Fanjove Island is situated on the small, private island of Fanjove, which is part of the Songo Songo archipelago which consists of five idyllic islands. It is located 30 km off the coast of Tanzania and 140 km southeast of Dar es Salaam. The journey to Fanjove Island Lodge is an experience in itself and is usually done by small plane from Dar es Salaam to Songo Songo. During the flight to the "Robinson Crusoe" paradise you will see small tropical islands that line up like pearls on a necklace, followed by an approximately one-hour boat ride to the island.
Rustic and airy, LABA Fanjove Island consists of six spacious bungalows built in a traditional style. Each bungalow is located directly on the beach and has its own terrace overlooking the sea. The bungalows are equipped with modern amenities such as a private bathroom and a comfortable bed.
